Project result - creation of a single ensemble of a pedestal with a monument, a terraced multi-level park and stairs, including national Turkmen motifs and allowing the whole complex to be used both for celebrations and for recreation of residents and guests

The exclusive rights to the solution of the pedestal belong to JSC "Vozrozhdenie", St. Petersburg

A monument to poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fragi in honor of his 300th birthday was opened on May 17, 2024 in the southern part of Ashgabat at the foot of the Kopetdag mountain system. The monument became part of a new cultural and park complex, which includes 24 statues of writers and poets from different countries.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the celebrations.
Berdimuhamedov, members of the Government of Turkmenistan, the diplomatic corps, representatives of various international organizations laid flowers at the monument to Makhtumkuli Fragi. It is a 60-meter sculpture standing on a 20-meter-high monument, a monumental staircase leads to this ensemble, crowned with massive granite bowls on the spans.
After laying flowers, the participants of the event became spectators of the first light show, which painted the monument, its foot and mountain ranges in bright colors. Then, against this background, a drone show began, which depicted the symbols of Turkmenistan, quotes from the works of the classic, gratitude to the country's leadership. The performance ended with a large-scale fireworks display that lasted more than 20 minutes.
